Sometimes, someone would say, “Jan, you should do stand-up comedy. You remind me of Steven Wright.”  So that’s how it all began.

 The first time I did comedy was at the Comedy Attic in Bloomington, IN.

My Mantra in comedy has been 

“Better living through delusional thinking!

I’m Young, Beautiful and Never Going to Die.

If you look up Gudaitis in Urban Dictionary, Gudaitis is defined as a “Sex Party”.  Yes, it is!  I am not joking.

That would be my “dream come true” to have Oprah in the audience with me on stage sharing the advice she often gives me.

It’s not easy being an older woman comic.

I’m looking forward to being “The Boomer” in future shows.
