THE LOWS OF DOING COMEDY

I try not to notice when I look in the mirror that unlike Oprah, time is not always my best friend. It’s not easy being an older woman comic. When younger, less seasoned comics get booked to headline a club, I’m always wondering, “Why not me?” Not to be confused with the “Me Too” movement. I am a strong supporter of the “Me Too” women’s movement, founded to weed out sexual exploitation and discrimination toward woman performers.
