JAN GUDAITIS a.k.a DEADPAN JAN
Comedian, Writer, Public Speaker, Storyteller
Jan Gudaitis, also known as Deadpan Jan, has performed stand-up comedy since 2012 when she first appeared at an open mic at the Comedy Attic in Bloomington, IN.
Jan has a dry, iconic wit and unique perspective in seeing humor where others may not, especially her husband. Sometimes poking fun at painful aspects of life, she’s the only person she knows who’s grateful for new medical diagnosis since it’s always a source of new comedy material.
Her mantra in life is
“Better living through delusional thinking.
I’m young, beautiful and never going to die.”
I’m young, beautiful and never going to die.

Once afraid of people laughing at her, she now gets upset when they don’t. She has been compared to Steven Wright and Bob Newhart. Her smart writing style complements her deadpan delivery, taking the audience on a hilarious joyride to unexpected places.
Jan has performed at many comedy festivals and several fringe festivals. Jan has opened for: Maria Bamford, Jackie Kashian, Tim Northern, Geoff Tate, Catelin Peluffo, Ben Roy, Channel Ali, Stewart Huff, Shane Torres, DeAnne Smith, Kelly Collete, Tina Friml, Lace Larabee, Laura Kightlinger, Katherine Blanford and others.
